Intermediate or testing releases
The LMDZ5 testing branch
We have created a "testing" branch in the LMDZ5 svn repository. It is destined to hold releases of the code that have succesfully undergone a number of compilation, execution and convergence tests and that deliver meaningful results. It is thus possible to distribute a more up-to-date version of the code than those held in the production version while avoiding all the problems of running a developer's release.
To download the testing release of LMDZ:
svn checkout http://svn.lmd.jussieu.fr/LMDZ/LMDZ5/branches/testing LMDZ5
The advantage of this construction is that to update to a new version of the testing release, one only needs do:
svn update
in the working directory one wants to update.
